Parent Coaching
From language development to feeding skills - we are here to help!
Your day is busy. Between play dates, laundry, errands, and meal prep, little time remains for you to create opportunities to teach your child necessary developmental skills.
There is also SO much information out there on when to start introducing solids, what solids to introduce, and ways to approach pediatric feeding, but sometimes it can be overwhelming especially if you are nervous about this next step!
This is where parent coaching comes in. We are here to show you how everyday activities can easily be turned into opportunities for communication growth. Let us be your personal parent guide and show you the way to supporting your child’s development with language and/or feeding skills!

Speech Therapy: speech therapy includes direct services to diagnose and treat impairments in the areas of expressive language, receptive language, pragmatic language, articulation/speech sound disorders, feeding disorders, vocal disorders, fluency disorders, and communication disorders. Sessions are typically 1-2 times a week and continue until the area(s) of delay have been remediated.
Parent Coaching: parent coaching includes educating the parent and/or caregiver in their home and/or through virtual services to help provide you with the strategies and tools you need to enhance your child’s communication and/or feeding skills and ensure they don’t get behind in critical areas of development. Parent coaching is available to assist families even when a delay is not present.
Speech therapy is meant for children who have been diagnosed with a speech/language delay, and the goal of parent coaching is to benefit all children!
**Parent coaching sessions DO NOT take the place of a full and individualized speech, language, and/or feeding evaluation. If your therapist suspects a delay present or milestones are not being met, a full evaluation is not required but may be recommended.
