ABOUT DR. ABBY
Dr. Abby is a pediatric physical therapist and native Texan, originally from a small town in East Texas but currently lives in Sunnyvale with her husband and 3 girls. She graduated from UT Tyler with a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and then attended UT Southwestern for her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Even while in school, it was clear that pediatrics was her passion and has been where she has worked for the last 7 years in home health, acute care, and early childhood intervention.
Abby has experience in working with children with a variety of diagnoses with specific training backgrounds in postural asymmetry and dynamic movement intervention - most often working with children to achieve crucial early motor milestones, working with babies as young as 8 weeks up to 5 years.
She spends most of her time, when not with her “work babies”, playing outside and spending time with her 3 girls - Aubrey, 5; Avery - 2; Addison - 2. Her husband of 10 years, Adam, teaches and coaches at Sunnyvale High School, where they are frequently found at games and events.
